Windows for Hard stuff, like rendering in 4k, music editing and gaming (since I have a license) and ubuntu 19 for programming and daily use.

Linux is a great option now.

Windows at home and Linux at work.

With Steam OS, Linux is great for gaming too. You should try it!

I'm using Windows for all kind of stuff due to working with it since over 15 years. I've tried plenty of times MacOS but it's nothing which fits my needs.

I use windows 10 because it is stable and safe, I used a long time Windows 7 because fewer resources were needed, but from some time more softs couldn`t be installed on it.

Windows 10 or 7 up to you. If you are a gamer then Windows is the only choice because it is the os that is supported most of the time.
