I followed these instructions:
Download this file.
Upload it to the /api folder in your site's directory (/home/blank/public_html/api).
Rename it to '.htaccess' (with no file name).
But when I click continue it tells me, The API endpoint is not giving the expected response. Check you followed the instructions correctly. The URL being tested is: https://blank.com/api/core/hello
I have friendly URLS, rewritting and force friendly urls enabled. And my website is running cloudflare SSL.

Are you sure the phpmyadmin imported/exported everything right? I truly hate the import/export system from phpmyadmin, because years ago I've trusted too much and all my DB backups was corrupted. If you have root access, I recommend you to use the command line to import:
mysql -u [username] -p [database name] < [database name].sql
Or to export:
mysqldump -u [username] -p [database name] > [database name].sql
If you don't have root access, try to use another web manager for MySQL, like DbNinja or adminer
Hello, I am posting here once again looking for solutions lol.
A friend of mine got a back up from her cloud hosted IPB 3.4.x a long time a go. They gave her the UPLOADS folder and the SQL file.
I created a fresh IPB 3.4.9 install in one of my domains, and imported the SQL file in phpmyadmin. When I visit the site I can see all members, forum sections and topics from the old site are there, but if I try to click a topic I would get a: We could not locate the topic you are trying to view error. So then I decide to upgrade to the latest IPB and make it 4.x and everything upgraded fine but now the topics names and topics are completely gone as if they never existed and everyone has 0 posts.
what am I doing wrong?
